Sasan Gir near Junagadh in Gujarat (India) is home to the Asiatic Lions found only here in its natural habitat. Gir National Park is a declared sanctuary since 1965. Gir offers both the Gir Jungle Trail in the core forest area and the Devalia Park Safari which is more like an open zoo.

Bastakiya Quarters in Bur Dubai is a quaint neighborhood built in 1890s by Iranian merchants and restored by Dubai Municipality in 2005. Walk through labyrinth alleyways and visit heritage courtyard houses topped with wind towers. Enjoy the open art galleries and those within the restored traditional houses. We are trying to find a definition for “travel”. Confused with the ‘travelling’ we have been doing, we want to rediscover its meaning. The thesaurus synonyms are journey, tour, trip, voyage, backpacking. But how would the whole experience give us fulfillment? Can TRAVEL be a pithy word and fill the mindscape with a vivid canvas of awe and excitement?
